Who from my dear readers loves hats, horses and elegant wardrobe? If you’re one of them I have a small hint you would love this event.
First, The Prix de Diane is a group 1 flat horse race in France. It is run at Chantilly, for me one of the most fabulous city to visit at it has one of the most beautiful castles. It is France’s equivalent of the Epsom Oaks, a famous race in England. The race was established in 1843 but during the Revolution and World Wars it was on / off. Nowadays it is happening in Chantilly and it is sponsored by Longines.
The race is held in a Chantilly hippodrome and it si divided in 4 sectors. The biggest one is called Diana village ant there is where you can participate to Elegance contest, photo shootings, music and bars. This year I was wearing outfit made by my dear friend and best stylist Stefan Golubovic.
The hat you can see on those pictures are from Diane, my friend who was in the top 10 Miss Elegance for this year. The event is starting in the morning around 10am and finishing at 8pm. The day passes very quickly as you meet a lot of interesting people, see beautiful horses and race.
At the end of the day you can see we are all in relax mode and enjoying the great day with champagne.
